What stamps do you use?
All the stamps are original stamps that have been franked. They have been purchased from all over the world and I have also been lucky to have friends collect their stamps and give them to me. If you have stamps that you would like to gift to The Stamp Collective I would be delighted. To me using stamps that have been gifted goes right to the heart of what The Stamp Collective is all about!
How do I preserve my artwork?
These original artworks are hand made using vintage stamps that are sourced from all over the world and all different decades. They are precious and fragile and need to be treated with care. To protect your artwork please place in a frame under glass as soon as possible.
What kind of frame would suit?
Original artworks are unframed and mounted in a professionally cut, white core matt board with a white core foam backing board ready to fit any standard 11” x 14” frame that can be purchased from a department store or a photo processing store.
What materials do you use?
I use only artist quality acid free materials and this includes all papers, tape, glue and polypropylene bags. Each original vintage postage stamp artwork is created using original stamps and artist quality 160gsm Canson Mi-Teintes paper. This is then mounted in a professionally cut, white core matt board with a white core foam backing board.
How long for delivery?
Each artwork is made to order so allow up to two weeks for delivery in Australia and up to four weeks for overseas. That said, if you have a special request for a shorter turnaround time please just email me at liska@the stampcollective.com.au and let me know your requirements and I will work with you to find a solution.
How do you package?
Your original vintage postage stamp artwork is slipped inside an acid free polypropylene bag for protection before being beautifully gift wrapped and sent via Australia Post mail.
What are my shipping options?
All parcels as shipped using Australia Post. Location and size of artwork will determine the price of shipping which will be confirmed at placement of order.
What is your returns policy?
I value attention to detail and so these artworks are created from the heart with a desire to be a close to the description as possible. Please note that as each piece is unique that stamps used will vary and there the colours may vary slightly as well. For example; a ‘ Red Bird’ will be indentifiable as Red however the tone and intensity of the red colour may vary depending on the stamps used.
However if you have any concerns please just email me via the contact page and we can set up a call to have a chat.
